Heather Orr of Palm Bay, Florida, was swimming at Ocean Avenue in April 2017 when she felt a sharp pain and noticed her left hand was bleeding. Lifeguards treated her at the scene, then her boyfriend drove her to Holmes Regional Medical Center where she was treated and released. Ironically, she came home and watched a shark movie. The bad news is she is left-handed.
